Our Origin

Stephen Parks founded Parks Consulting Group after spending several years as a senior consultant with multinational consulting firms. There, it became apparent that smaller sized companies with Information Technology needs were being under-served in the market.

While the large consultancies definitely had a great talent pool, it seemed difficult to access without a big budget. Accepting small jobs and small projects is simply not an overwhelming profit achiever for them.

Conversely, it seemed hard to find advanced levels of expertise in the smaller service organizations. These companies are generally good at "fixing," but commonly lack the things like business knowledge, strategic planning, best practices, documentation, and the ability to communicate at management levels.

With this in mind, Parks Consulting Group was created as a nexus between "too much" and "not enough." We combine the best of technical expertise, security knowledge, business knowledge, strategic planning, and professional consulting skills, at a cost in line with smaller service organizations. We feel that by offering additional value with no extra cost, we will be able to form lasting relationships with our clients.
